Career Profile
My background in political science makes me a data driven person who is also able to look into the bigger picture behind the data and how it fits into a broader strategy. So has proven my record of achievement working for Holvi, together with drove the company to an exponential growth from 2018 to 2020 leading it to become the top choice in FinTech B2B. Then I decided to Join Xolo in a mission to make entrepreneurship accessible to (almost) everyone, everywhere. Helping this copany to expand their activities to Spain and Italy. Now I am exploring eHealth and the challenges that come with it.
Experiences
As a seasoned Performance Marketing Manager and Technical SEO Expert, I take care of the most important part of online focused Business: generate revenue. I make websites convert.
My responsabilities as Team Lead for Digital Communications were SEO, SEA, Growth Marketing, Social Media (paid and unpaid) as well as reputation management everywhere were a review could be publised. While I enjoyed having my own team, I learned that a generalistic position like this does not suit me.
At Selfapy I was responsible for making the Website convert (CRO) and setting up landing pages for paid marketing. This includes tracking but also making sure development of the site is being taken forward and well planned.
I joined Xolo to make entrepreneurship a magical experience. Xolo is serving freelancers and entrepereneurs around the world with two products: Xolo Go and Xolo Leap. The later one linked to the Estonian E-residency program. I was responsible for scaling globaly their Facebook Paid activities and also looking at growing business revenue with other initiatives (CRO, new channels, finding niches…).
At Holvi I was managing a team of three performance marketers in the fields of Affiliate Marketing, Paid Search and Display advertising. Cross-functional work with other teams was also necessary in our setup as part of my core competences are still with the areas of paid-social and conversion rate optimization. As a Performance Lead I’ve been also taking a bigger responsibility defining budgets for each channel and analysing business opportunities laying beneath a sustainable acquisition. When I started working for Holvi my first task were running paid social, display retargeting and related reporting duties. After taking ownership for this channel and successfully ramping it up to the desired level of acquisition, I was entrusted with more extensive tasks such as testing and roll out of secondary tasks.
As a Facebook contractor, the program I was working for at Accenture took care of SMBs who wanted to use the self-service ads platform of Facebook. The difference in savviness of our clients made it quite challenging but also thrilling. However, the task that I learned more from was hearing them out and getting to know their needs and concerns.
My tasks as political advisor on digital communication affairs were to provide daily, weekly and monthly reports to the Government of an autonomous region in Spain. The main focus areas were political polarization in Social Media (mainly Facebook and Twitter), identifying trends and measure political opinions about certain topics we monitored.
This was the beginning of my professional career in the field of marketing and consulting for marketing services. My main tasks were to produce reports and conduct research as well as to present my findings to the agency’s clients.
